About ACCT

In recognition of the tremendous contribution made by trustees, chief executives, and faculty members to community colleges, the Association of Community College Trustees (ACCT) annually recognizes one exemplary trustee, chief executive, faculty member, professional board staff, and board/CEO team which has improved equity in their institution in each of its five regions.

ACCT's Annual Association Awards also recognizes the tremendous contributions made by trustees, chief executives, faculty members, professional board staff, and equity programs and are selected from the recipients of the Regional Awards.

Additionally, ACCT honors individuals who strive to promote community colleges in the public sector with a National Education Service Award and a Government Relations Award. These awards are given out during ACCT's National Legislative Summit.
