In the Know With ACCT is back for a fourth season! 

Whether you’re a community college trustee, a president, a policymaker or someone with a passion for the community college movement, ACCT’s podcast is designed to get you in the know. Listen to provocative, informal conversations with visionaries and sector leaders in a portable format that’s more radio show than classroom.

Below are the latest episodes. Episodes to come this winter will focus on community college advocacy, governance education and topics relating to student success and workforce development in consideration of the COVID-19 pandemic. David Mathis: Evolution of Community College Trusteeship
Season 4, Episodes 1 & 2: ACCT Chair David Mathis has been a member of the Mohawk Valley Community College board of trustees since 1977. In this episode, Mathis reflects on how community college and how public higher education governance have evolved over the past four decades, including challenges, opportunities, and changes that have taken place. Season 4, Episodes 3 & 4: In this episode, Strada Education Network Consumer Insights Director of Research Andrew R. Hanson talks with ACCT staff about the implications of Strada's ongoing Public Viewpoints study. The conversation covered a wide range of findings from the study, including:
