Timothy W. Hardy is a Past Chairman and the current Chairman of the Board of Supervisors for the Louisiana Community & Technical College System, having served on the Board between 2011 and 2023. He was reappointed in June 2024. He was elected to the ACCT Board of Directors in 2016. He previously served on both the ACCT Board of Directors Governance and Bylaws Committee and the ACCT Public Policy & Advocacy Committee. An environmental attorney by trade, he holds high the value of community and technical colleges throughout the country. In addition to Chairman of the LCTCS Board, he also served in the roles of First and Second Vice Chair and the Chair of the Personnel Committee. He was the point person for multiple Chancellor searches as well as a President search for LCTCS. He has been instrumental in helping to secure more than $300 million in funding for 29 new workforce development facility projects and supported Board action that led to record graduates and other policies that helped to grow enrollment and foundation assets. He is a native Louisianan and understands the positive impact of community and technical colleges on the state’s residents, communities, and economy
