In today’s fast-paced, jargon-filled, tweeting world, board members may find this glossary of terms helpful to clarify the different concepts swirling around in today’s media. ACCT Trustee Education hopes that this new feature will help boards to power walk through the educational literature by having a better understanding of the jargon used in higher education that would be helpful for trustees in their policymaking roles. Precise language is a powerful communication tool, and this feature can serve as a weekly learning tool of new buzzwords in postsecondary education.
