The Board's Role in Student Success
Throughout much of their history, the primary focus of Community Colleges was providing access. Today, Community Colleges and the Board of Trustees, are challenged to rethink and redesign the academic experience with a new focus on promoting student success. The Board of Trustees, in their fiduciary responsibilities, have a duty to act in the best interest of the institution and mission, ensuring student success. Join us for an interactive, extremely positive workshop, as we discuss the changing role of Community Colleges as it relates to student achievement. Discussion will include Student Success Strategic Action Plans, National Student Success Programs, Equity Mindedness, Student Showcasing, and the ROLE OF TRUSTEES IN STUDENT SUCCESS.
