I am an elected trustee of the Foothill-De Anza Community College District in the heart of Silicon Valley which is known for its technology and innovation.  I am a proud graduate of West Valley Community College in Saratoga, California with an associate degree and first in my family to graduate from college.  I have a passion in public service as a former Cupertino Councilmember and former Board of Director of the League of California Cities and I was active in the National League of Cities from 2007 to 2016.  I have a passion to advocate to our federal government for education and for our community college students.
