In March 2023, the Association of Community College Trustees (ACCT) and the National Head Start Association (NHSA) announced Phase I of the Kids on Campus Initiative. Through this initiative ACCT and NHSA propose to match 50+ Head Starts with interested community colleges to explore on-campus partnerships over six years in a two-phase project. Phase I (March – September 2023) has served as the planning and design phase for the initiative.
Join the Association of Community College Trustees and the National Head Start Association as we share lessons learned from Phase I of our Kids on Campus project. During this webinar, we will provide insights from what we have learned through our focus groups with community colleges and Head Start providers. Additionally, we will highlight the resources that we have created to help establish partnerships between community colleges and Head Start providers. Attendees will also learn what Phase II of the project will look like and how they can engage with the next phase of the project.
