Colleges’ Expanding Student Supports as SNAP Employment & Training Providers

January

ACCT is excited to announce the institutions participating in cohort two of the project to expand the network of community colleges serving as SNAP E&T (Employment & Training) providers. Through this USDA Food and Nutrition Service funded project, ACCT is building the capacity of state systems, targeting rural institutions, and disseminating SNAP E&T resources to a broader network.

ACCT is developing a series of 11 narrowly focused, topic specific instructional modules in conjunction with 11 companion planning guides, targeted technical assistance, templates, and other resources to support the operationalization and institutionalization of SNAP E&T to enhance student supports offerings. This expense offsetting opportunity reimburses college costs for SNAP-eligible student supports such as gas cards/bus passes, childcare, tools and supplies, scrubs, steel toe shoes, laptops/hot spots, glasses, credentialling fees, and more.

Welcome to the following institutions! We look forward to supporting your work to leverage this incredible resource to holistically serve your students.
