Shawn Boldt is a product of a community college and a parent of two community college graduates and a student trustee. He served 14 years on the local city council, plus the boards of Big Brothers/ Sisters and Northern Illinois Economic Development. Boldt also served six years as Chair/CFO of Immanuel Church and School, and eight years as their Athletic Director. He has been a part of ACCT since 2019, and has attended every National Legislative Summit and ACCT Leadership Congress. Boldt served one term on the Member Communications and Education committee, two terms on the Finance and Audit Committee, as well as teller for last year’s elections. Boldt believes service to students and staff is paramount. Suicide prevention, DEI, mental health, access for disabled students, technology training, and access in education are important areas he would like to home in on during his time as Central Regional Chair.
